Tidefall offers both free and subscription options. Free players can create characters and play, but are limited a number of chats per month. Subscribers enjoy unlimited gameplay. For multiplayer only one player needs to be a subscriber.

Only the party leader needs a subscription. Others in the group can join for free, but all players must have an account, create their own characters, and have Discord.
