TIDEFALL
TIDEFALL
The island of Tidefall was abruptly cut off from the world fifty years ago when the Storm shut the seas and turned every horizon into a barrier. Since then, kings, councils, guilds, faiths, and criminal networks all compete to control what remains. New cults dedicated to the maelstrom now spread across the island, from desperate fanatics to wealthy, organised sects, all claiming to understand the mystery behind the swirling clouds.
Beneath the cities and wilderness lies an older Tidefall, built over forgotten structures and buried truths that powerful forces, both new and old, are seeking out once more.

Lore
SOUTHERN PROVINCEs
The Southern Provinces span Tidefall’s most hostile terrain. Sarnath governs through forts, soldiers, and law, while vast regions survive with little support.
THE Crownlands
Royal seat of the Kingdom, a land of serene lakes and rolling hills, lords and their sycophants squabble whilst pirates beset their shores.
WESTERN FLATS
Expansive and harsh, the Western Flats are home to saltpans, canyons, and legendary beasts. Under the Great Wyrm’s shadow, Orc nomads roam, while merchant caravans cross from Colwynd to Katmusad, remote Kingdom cities.
THE Gildreach
The Kingdom’s breadbasket, home to Veloria, its largest city, and Tidefall’s only university. From temperate fields, the huge Bay of Velor, to Goruk raids, the Gildreach is ancient and ripe with opportunity.
THE VELD
A wild land bisecting the Kingdom, from the central Dothspire Mountains to the Darkveld forest. Mountain passes and marshy woods make it difficult to cross without aid from the reclusive Dothloden or battling the Goruk.
